Elm Grove at Everglades

Set in a secluded, private and quiet block in South Leura right next door to The Everglades is Elm Grove - your home away from home set amongst the treetops with ample parking for at least 4 cars.

This house is an entertainers delight and large enough to comfortably accommodate up to 10 adult guests and additional children in cots/camp beds if needs be.

The kitchen boasts a large size range oven, dishwasher, microwave and quality cookware. The table easily seats 10 for the long lazy lunch or culinary dinner. The outdoor dining area also seats up to 10 comfortably with the BBQ close at hand!

Polished timber floors are a feature of the TV room and more formal sitting room both of which open out onto the spacious covered rear deck. Both these rooms can be made separate to allow for differing tastes! Foxtel,Netflix and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs are all available for cosy winter evenings. There is also a selection of board games, books and CDs. The house also has wi-fi broadband and blue tooth sound systems.

Gas fire and central heating throughout the house ensure a warm and comfortable stay in the winter months whilst the large double doors all along the back of the house open out onto the large back deck and keep the temperature comfortable inside during the warmer summer months.

Three large bedrooms (2 queen and 1 king), with built-ins, plus a family bathroom with spa bath and separate shower and separate WC occupy the rest of the upstairs. The king double can be turned into two single beds to suit your needs. Located downstairs is the master suite with a walk-in wardrobe and luxury en-suite with walk-in shower.
Baby travel cot, change table and high chair available.

The separate studio can be used as a teenage retreat, man-cave or fifth bedroom. It contains a pool/snooker table, drinks fridge, sofa bed and separate WC.

The rear deck overlooks a large bush garden with fire-pit and seating, the perfect outdoor location to relax with family & friends. The large fully fenced garden with cubby house, slide and sandpit is perfect for children and dogs to explore.

The lower patio can be used as a relaxing vantage point to watch over antics in the garden, or a quiet escape for an afternoon snooze.

By turning left at the top of the drive, you are less than a 5 minute drive to Leura Village, the cherry blossom lined street is a shoppers delight with a range of classy vintage style shops, spas, boutiques, candle shops, old world toy stores, local arts and crafts, cosy cafes and upmarket dining, it has something to offer everyone.

By turning right at the top of the drive, you are less than a 2 minute drive (or a 10 minute walk) to Prince Henry Cliff walk, breathtaking views of Jamison Valley and Mount Solitary, the Pools of Siloam, plummeting waterfalls, picture perfect back drop with amazing sounds of the many native birds.

Within easy reach of Elm Grove are a number of other areas of outstanding natural beauty with walking and cycling trails.
